  Who We Are

Helping Hand Foundation is a registered non-profit and non-partisan 501(c)(3) organization.

Helping Hand Foundation (HHF) is a registered non-profit and non-partisan section 501(c)(3) organization in the Southern California area. We are dedicated to promoting and providing support to at-risk populations in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Ukraine, Iraq , Syria , and Yemen in the following key areas: education, healthcare, women empowerment, community development and youth programs. We believe that improvements in these areas will result in sustainable and equitable social development and stability in Afghanistan and other countries. In addition, following the fall of the Afghan government in August 2021, HHF has initiated new collaborations with grassroots organizations and community leaders serving at-risk Afghan diaspora communities in the United States and in Pakistan. These partnerships will enable HHF to provide support for Afghan and Ukrainian refugees in the United States and humanitarian assistance, mainly members of the at-risk community, who have fled their countries.

HHF partners with reliable community-organized and community-sustained organizations that have demonstrated a sound track record of service and low overhead to create collective impact in the marginalized and underserved communities in Afghanistan, Pakistan, as well as other countries and the Afghan diaspora communities in the US. Our grassroots partner-organizations are meeting a crucial, locally identified need in these countries, and HHF supports their efforts to this end. We believe that continued assistance supporting programs in the above key areas will have a significant and lasting impact on social and economic mobility in Afghanistan, ease resettlement for refugees, and help the diaspora organizations to consolidate their efforts to create a larger impact.

In this difficult time, our goals are to provide support to educational institutions and humanitarian aid to countries’s at-risk community. Furthermore, we advocate for and raise awareness about the plight of the persecuted and marginalized in the United States.
